Muska
What if a Kid, in a fly disguise, suddenly took his role a bit too far?
de My first ShortFilm, febuary 2010 until June 2010, Collège Bois-de-Boulogne
Muska, this cute, joyful, but irritating kid, fashioned his own costume with old cardboard boxes, crayons and some tights he stole from her mother. But his performance won't impress much his old grumpy neighbour, who after enduring his play for a while, will chase him off.
Note : Muska is a deformation of the Italian word Musca, witch literally means fly bug.

Concept Art
Two main characters. Muska, and the grumpy neighbour.
I wanted to give my characters a caricature look, inspired by the Triplettes de Belleville film.
Muska with his DIY costume : cardboard, crayons, tape, tights, springs.
The grumpy just went out of bed, so he's still in his pyjamas.
StoryBoard
The first storyline was way bigger than the final cut. A lot of details went down for the good of the deadline and film length we were imposed.
